Rebekah Mildenhall is an Assistant Professor in the nursing department at the University of North Georgia (UNG). Dr. Mildenhall began her nursing career as an officer in the United States Navy Nurse Corps, serving for five years. She then went on to work as a registered nurse at several hospitals and clinics in Washington and Georgia before becoming a women’s health nurse practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience in children's health, women’s health, and perioperative services. In addition to teaching undergraduate students at UNG, Dr. Mildenhall works in the Women and Children’s service line for Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA. Rebekah completed a bachelor's degree in nursing at the Medical College of Georgia and a master's degree in Perinatal and Women's Health Nursing at Georgia State University. She recently completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Education at UNG. Rebekah serves as the Academic Counselor for the Tau Psi chapter of Sigma, the international honor society for nurses. She is an active member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nurses.
