Dr. Liz Griffin

Clinical Educator

Northeast Georgia Health System

Description

Liz has been working as a nurse for Northeast Georgia Health Systems for 18 years now. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Georgia College & State University in 2006, her Masters in Nursing Education from University of Phoenix in 2018, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of North Georgia in 2023. She started her career as a nurse in Labor & Delivery, helped open a sister hospital with an LDRP and Level 2 NICU, and transitioned into their first clinical nurse educator where she covered all the Women & Children departments for that same campus (including the W&C resource float pool). She enjoyed making that position her own and always strived to incorporate multiple different platforms to engage her staff in necessary education. In 2023, she transitioned to centralized education as an instructional designer. She is now able to incorporate her "tech savy" skills with her passion for education while helping other educators bring their material to life!
