Justen has over two decades of experience in the animation and visual effects industry and has worked across a number of departments including Visual Effects and Research and Development. As the Principal Engineer for Production Systems at Animal Logic's Sydney studio, Justen is overseeing the process of adapting Animal Logic’s pipeline into the cloud. Justen’s work has helped Animal Logic’s artists to create a range of iconic effects such as the falling code from The Matrix, the swirling tornado of leaves in Hero, and the particle systems that turned Kylie Minogue into 'the green fairy' in Moulin Rouge!. His credits include Happy Feet, Legend of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, The Great Gatsby, The LEGO Movie Franchise and Peter Rabbit 1 & 2. Justen is a computer science graduate from the University of Technology Sydney.
