Mary Holland, CPP is the Global Director of Strategy, Development and Training. In this role, Mary has the responsibility of providing leadership and development of the global education development and offering for the Global Management Institute (GPMI). Mary has over 20 years of experience in Finance and Payroll including Payroll Accounting, International assignments, System implementation, Equity and Stock Reporting, Accounts Payable, Global Payroll management and General Ledger. Mary has been a Certified Payroll Professional since 2003. Prior to joining GPMI staff, Mary was an active member of the American Payroll Association and the Global Payroll Management Institute. At the APA national level she chaired the Nomination and Election and Education Grant committees and served as a Board of Advisor, National Speaker Bureau and co-chair of the Strategic Leadership Task Force -Global Issues. In 2009, Mary received the Donald W Shaper Education Grant. In 2011, Mary received APA Meritorious Service Award, in 2014 APA Special Recognition Award and in 2016 she was awarded APA Payroll Women of the Year. Mary worked on the content development of the Global Management Certificate Program, Advanced Global Payroll Management Certificate Program and Managing Payroll Operations Across the Globe and has presented many sessions across the U.S. and Dublin, Ireland. At the local level, she has served many position including president with the Silicon Valley Chapter of the APA.
