Dr Geoff Whittam

Geoff has over 20 years experience in Higher Education and is currently located at the School for Business and Society at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in the position of Reader. Geoff has been responsible for curricular development in entrepreneurship and local economic development in all institutions in which he has worked. Geoff is currently research lead for the Department of Business and Management at GCU and has an extensive publication record in the field of entrepreneurship, specifically in finance of SMEs, ethnic minority businesses, rural entrepreneurship and social enterprises. Geoff was an elected member of the Board of the Regional Studies Association, a Director of the Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) and is currently a Director of the Scottish Community Development Council.
