PHASE Alliance

Description

Clay Olsen is the CEO and Co-Founder of the PHASE (Prevention and Healing Against Sexual Exploitation) Alliance. PHASE represents three nationally recognized organizations—Fight the New Drug, the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, and the Malouf Foundation—coming together to make a greater impact in the fight against sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. By working together with lived experience experts, clinical professionals, and industry leaders, PHASE’s robust network of prevention and healing programs are driving change across the globe.  For over 15 years, Clay has led non-profit initiatives related to mental health and sexual exploitation. He co-founded Fight the New Drug, a movement dedicated to raising awareness on the harmful effects of pornography and other forms of sexual exploitation through science, facts, and personal accounts, in 2009. It was featured on ABC, The New York Times, NPR, CBS, CNN, USA Today, and more. Clay is also the CEO and Founder of Impact Suite, the creators of a suite of award-winning on-demand self-care apps that have helped hundreds of thousands of individuals find deeper healing and recovery in over 150 countries (see impactsuite.com). Clay currently sits on the Board of Directors for a number of different non-profit and start-up organizations and finds a lot of fulfillment in advising entrepreneurs in their efforts to make a dent in the world. Clay has presented at hundreds of secondary schools, universities, and event centers in multiple countries. He’s spoken at the United Nations, the World Congress of Families, Carnegie Mellon, The Kansas City Royals, and the Set Free Global Summit. In 2015, he was invited to join the Top Youth Speakers National Speakers Association. In 2017, he was honored with the “Visionary Leadership Award” by the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. In 2021, he was recognized as one of Utah’s top business professionals with the 40 Under 40 Award.
