Description

Kristin, a resilient survivor of human trafficking, brings over two decades of dedicated experience to the anti-trafficking sector. Having graduated from Thistle Farms, Kristin served as their Event Coordinator and speaker before deciding to embark on a national career in anti-trafficking. She has worked under contract for various projects, contributing her expertise to organizations such as the National Survivor Network, the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking, Survivor Alliance, Freedom Network, and Polaris. She is a member of the Red Alert Task Force, an international initiative combatting human trafficking, as well as an alumna of Empower Her Network and Elevate Academy. She holds membership in Cleverhuman's The Network, The Global Association of Human Trafficking Scholars, and The Knoble. Her extensive travels across the country involve frequent speaking engagements and attendance at numerous conferences as a trainer and presenter. Regularly sought after for keynotes, teaching sessions on criminal record relief, workshops, podcast appearances, op-eds and panel discussions, Kristin seeks to bring survivors together and uplift leaders. A valued contributor and advisor to 1 God Foundation, Recover Hope, and Voices For Children, Kristin also initiated and leads a survivor-only prayer group with members from various countries, faiths, and languages. Recognized as a speaker and published writer, Kristin explores crucial topics such as vacatur, criminal record relief, survivor engagement, and policy and legislative issues. Beyond her impactful work at Sparrow House and We Fight Monsters, she serves on the Board of Directors of Liluye as the Survivor Affairs Expert, as well as the Board of the Directors for the Pulaski Free Store. Kristin also is an active Board Member of The Brenna Wallace International Initiative. She contributes significantly to the 1 God Foundation, and actively participates in Survivor Alliance. Kristin remains a staunch advocate within the Virginia Coalition Against Human Trafficking and the Regional Interdisciplinary Collaborative Working to Disrupt Human Trafficking. She has recently joined The Anchor Project,  a 501(c)4 fighting to combat human trafficking through policy and legislative endeavors. Kristin currently is working with Global Centurion to release an app for victims and survivors.  She leverages her tech-savvy background in programming, social media, marketing, OSINT, AI and web design to amplifiy survivor voices and continues to fight for the most vulnerable.
