Jim Whitcomb is a twenty year veteran in commercial banking. He’s a Relationship Executive with J.P.Morgan’s Southeast Middle Market team. Jim is responsible for covering a portfolio of US subsidiaries of large foreign multinational companies with North American headquarters in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Prior to joining J.P.Morgan, Jim was a Managing Director in the International Origination and Client Coverage – Asia Group at Fifth Third Bank. He also ran Wachovia’s Rep office in Tokyo from 1997 to 2002, providing correspondent banking services to a 100 plus Japanese banks. He lived in Japan a total of eleven years and in China for three years. He’s proficient in the Japanese language. Jim sits on the boards of the Japan American Society of Georgia (Co-chair Membership Committee) and the Southeast United States Korean Chamber of Commerce (President). Jim has a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN and a Masters of Business Administration from New York University. He’s a licensed CPA (inactive status).
