Brittany Guimond is a Data Scientist at Alabama Power where she is responsible for developing strategic and programmatic process improvements through data science. She started her career as an intern at Alabama Power in the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) department, acquiring invaluable insights into the operational dynamics of the utilities industry. After graduating, she accepted a position as an AMI Data Analyst where she maintained data for the largest industrial and commercial customers in Alabama Power territory. In 2024, Brittany moved to the Predictive Analytics Marketing department where she creates, enhances, and deploys statistical and analytical models that drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business profitability. Brittany holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she is currently pursuing her master's degree in Data Science.
