Description

Leila Nzekele (She/Her/Hers) is a recent Drexel University ‘21 graduate who majored in Public Health with a minor in International Economics. She is originally from Bethesda, Maryland, and has experience working in the field of Global Health as well as the WASH sector, where has collaborated and conducted research with organizations such as World Vision, AFAHO, and SHARP. Her interests within public health include community health, nutrition, and reducing health disparities initiated by inequities. She is a strong advocate of equity for all and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. She believes it's essential to create dialogue in order to facilitate change and address health issues. Leila began this project with her Drexel colleagues back in September of 2020 and has been collaborating with World Vision to investigate Decolonizing WASH Research.
