Ross Schalmo is the Chief Data Officer at Eaton. Over the past two years, he has led Eaton's digitalization transformation efforts through a comprehensive enterprise data and AI strategy, inclusive of the establishment of a global Data Governance program, as well as implementing the company's first cloud-based data lakehouse and multi-million dollar Generative AI outcomes. Key focus areas include Supply Chain resiliency, Finance, Sustainability, and establishing a data-driven culture throughout the company. Prior to Eaton, Ross spent 14 years with General Electric, with his most recent position as VP - Enterprise Application Architecture focused on cloud transformation, self-service data enablement, and end user services. With GE, he received the Chairman's Award for Excellence for the stabilization and cloud migration of its enterprise data warehouse. Ross received his MBA from Xavier University after completing undergraduate studies at Miami (OH) University.
