Jane Urban is a builder of new functions and high performing teams in the biopharma space. She currently holds the newly created Vice President of Customer Engagement Operations at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals position, with the intention to bring Omnichannel and personal engagement operations together to improve the customer experience. Prior to Otsuka, Jane held roles of increasing scope at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, most recently Vice President of Data, Digital and Technology for Global Commercial and Global Medical for Takeda’s Global Portfolio Division. Prior to this role she was the first Head of Commercial Data for Takeda’s US Business Unit, she integrated US Commercial Operations between Takeda and Shire, and built out the US commercial data needs for Entyvio, a key brand in the Takeda portfolio. Prior to Takeda, Jane has had a broad set of healthcare commercialization related roles in consulting and healthcare companies in analytics, forecasting, digital marketing, commercial operations, and market research. She has over 15 years of experience and over 10 years of team management experience. Jane has an MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and her undergraduate studies at Brown University were focused on Biomedical Engineering and Economics.
