Vice President, Law & Policy
Kevin Rupy is the Vice President, Law & Policy for USTelecom. He provides policy analysis and legal and regulatory support on a range of issues including broadband, video competition, and consumer protection. Kevin represents USTelecom and its members before the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and other federal agencies. Over the last several years, his efforts have been primarily focused on the issue of robocalls. He leads the 22 member Industry Traceback Group and is co-chair of the Robocall Subcommittee on the Federal Communications Commission’s Consumer Advisory Committee. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on the topic at a variety of industry and government forums. Prior to joining USTelecom, he was a senior associate with the Washington, DC based law firm of Keller and Heckman, where he represented clients before the Federal Communications Commission. Kevin spent more than five years in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain. He received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University, and his law degree from the American University Washington College of Law.
