Elizabeth Nolan Brown is an associate editor for Reason.com, where she covers current events and culture with an emphasis on sex policy, criminal justice reform, reproductive freedom, millennial political trends, food regulation, gender issues, and free speech. Her writing has also appeared places such as Politico, Playboy, Time, The Dish, Newsweek, Fox News, Libertarianism.org, and The Week. Before coming to Reason, Brown was a writer, editor, and web producer for AARP publications; a blogger with Bustle.com and Defy Media; and a reporter for the Columbus, Ohio, Daily Reporter. She has an M.A. in strategic communication from American University, a B.F.A in theater from Ohio University, and a certificate in nutrition from Cornell. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
