Dr. Euihark Lee is a researcher and educator in the field of packaging engineering, known for his commitment to advancing the efficiency and sustainability of engineering designs. Dr. Lee's recent research has focused on optimizing packaging designs to reduce resource usage while simultaneously enhancing functionality. His work extends to the development of advanced numerical analysis methods tailored for packaging systems, aiming to streamline the design process and improve overall efficiency. Additionally, Dr. Lee has been at the forefront of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into packaging design, leveraging AI techniques to enhance accuracy, speed, and automation, thereby ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Packaging at Michigan State University, Dr. Lee has been instrumental in shaping the education and research landscape since 2019. Prior to this role, he held positions as an Assistant Teaching Professor and Research Associate in the Packaging Engineering Program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, from 2015 to 2019 and 2012 to 2015, respectively. Dr. Lee earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers in 2011, building upon a foundation that includes a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
