As a postdoctoral researcher at Nofima, the largest institute for applied research within the fields of fisheries, aquaculture, and food in Europe, I am passionate about developing innovative and sustainable solutions for food packaging based on recycled plastics and toxicity assay. I have over four years of experience in chemistry and materials technology, with a focus on circular economy, biocomposite, food shelf life, biopolymers , biodegradation, and life cycle assessment. I am also actively involved in the COST Action Network CA19124 CIRCUL-A-BILITY, which aims to rethink packaging for circular and sustainable food supply chains of the future. In addition, I serve as a guest editor and a topical advisory panel member for two reputable journals in the field of polymer and membrane science. I believe that by combining scientific knowledge, interdisciplinary collaboration, and social responsibility, I can contribute to a better and greener planet for the present and future generations.
