Peter is a founding partner of Flywheel which designs and operates coworking innovation space in partnership with premier educational institutions and local community partners. We operate locations in Winston-Salem at 500 W. 5th St., and at the Cabarrus Center for Innovation in Concord, NC. We also designed and operated the coworking facility at the Hurt Hub @ Davidson before transferring operations to Davidson College. Our network of innovation centers continues to grow throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia in markets that have the right ingredients and community support for early-stage entrepreneurs. Peter is also a founding Director of the Flywheel Foundation, which promotes healthy entrepreneurship ecosystems through events, program partnerships, a learning management system, and early-stage investment programming. We accelerate home-grown economic development with diverse pathways for inception-stage and growth-stage startups by partnering with an expanding network of non-profits, economic development organizations, corporations, and investors. We are committed to working with organizations who put entrepreneurs first, knowing that a resilient and inclusive economy benefits all. Our current portfolio of work includes design projects in the Corporate, Medical, Professional, Educational, Governmental, and Non-Profit sectors. The firm has been active in key revitalization projects and is a corporate member of the US Green Building Council. Current LEED projects in the design stages range from tenant interiors to major renovations and large scale urban redevelopment.
