Al Rosenbaum is the Executive Vice President of Customer Success at SilverCloud Inc., a banking specific software as a service (SaaS) company that specializes in digital enablement for banks and credit unions. Rosenbaum brings more than 25 years of customer success, sales, and marketing experience to SilverCloud. He earned his MBA at Bentley College and his bachelor’s degree in Consumer Behavior at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Becky Garton is a risk management analyst in Business Protection Risk Management for CUNA Mutual Group. In this role she assists credit unions in identifying areas of risk in their operations and recommends appropriate controls to reduce loss exposures. Before accepting her current position in 2007, Garton worked as a plastic card loss prevention consultant within the Credit Union Protection Division. Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group in 2006, Garton worked for Certegy/Fidelity as a trainer and supervisor for chargebacks and compliance. Garton holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Edgewood College and is a member of the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators Group.
Ben Brady completed his BS in Information systems at Tennessee Technological University and holds various IT certifications from Cisco, CompTIA, Dell-Sonicwall, ISACA, and Microsoft. Ben spent the first part of his IT career in the Internet Service Provider (ISP) sector working with advanced networking, connectivity, and network security. For the last seven years, Ben has concentrated most of his work life on his regulated clients in the financial and healthcare industries helping them meet their compliance and regulatory obligations. Ben spends a great deal of time on auditing, cybersecurity and social engineering. Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and occasionally escaping for a ride on his motorcycle.
Bridgette Lipman Morris is all about what you say and how you say it, especially when it comes to coworkers and clients. She specializes in internal and executive communication, with a focus on public speaking. Her research and communication plans have been published internationally and she has been working as an “interdepartmental translator” for technology and manufacturing companies, as well as teaching for the past 8 years. In her free time, she works with MBA and MEng programs teaching business communication and project presentation skills. Bridgette has a Master of Communication degree from the University of Louisville. She is currently working for the healthcare technology company, Waystar, as well as teaching business and professional communication at the University of Louisville.
Denise Gabel—The Denise—is the Innovation Catalyst and former Chief Operating Officer at the Northwest Credit Union Association and the Executive Director for the Northwest Credit Union Foundation. Jason Duke completed his BS in Information Systems and his MBA in Information Systems at Tennessee Tech University. While serving as CIO for a commercial bank for 18 years, Jason graduated from the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt and earned two American Institute of Banking Diplomas in General Banking and Bank Operations. Jason is a CISSP, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certified, a Certified Information Systems Auditor, a Certified Information Systems Manager and a Certified Cybersecurity Practitioner. For the past 24 years, Jason has focused on IT audits and network security in the financial sector and related industries. Performing IT audits, risk assessments, policy creating and maintenance, network security and consultation are among his fields of expertise. Jason enjoys public speaking and working with clients on challenging projects.
Jennifer Henning has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for an educator’s credit union in Louisville, Kentucky. During her tenure, she helped grow the credit union from $160M in assets (2012) to $207M in assets at present. This growth helped fuel an improvement in the loan to share ratio of 1724 basis points. She is a former federal regulator serving during the years of the housing crisis, examining banks during the week and closing them on the weekends. Jennifer lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband who is currently completing his 20 years of service with the U.S. Army and her two amazing sons.
Jon is the managing partner at Callahan & Associates and the vice president and assistant treasurer for TRUST Mutual Funds. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Callahan & Associates as well as myCUmortgage. Prior to taking the reins as managing partner for Callahan, Jon was responsible for leading sales and marketing for the TRUST Mutual Funds, which supports credit union investments through professionally managed mutual funds. He also was president and CEO of Credit Union Student Choice, a credit union-owned student lending CUSO. Under Jon’s leadership Credit Union Student Choice grew from a startup to originating more than 50,000 loans, representing balances in excess of $1.2 billion while delivering a 50% return on equity to the 230 credit union partners. Jon is a seasoned financial services professional with more than 15 years of credit union industry experience. He has extensive knowledge on the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry and a demonstrated talent for leading successful financial ventures. His proven ability to bring people together for the advancement of shared ideas, coupled with his amicable presentation style, creates the ideal environment for innovation incubation and ideation collaboration. His presentations consistently deliver impactful messages that move credit unions’ towards successful outcomes. Jon earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Denison University in Granville, OH, and an MBA from the Kogod School of Management at American University in Washington, DC. He also holds FINRA license series 6 and 63.
Juliana Maneno is the Senior Compliance Officer with PolicyWorks LLC. She assists credit unions with their compliance needs. Juliana provides compliance support to affiliated League credit unions and manages League partner relationships, including answering compliance questions, writing compliance articles, and administering compliance training. Juliana previously worked as a Compliance Manager with the Ohio Credit Union League.
Karim Habib is Director of Lending Solutions with CUNA Mutual Group. In this role he is responsible for providing leadership and specialized knowledge of the Lender Development Program (LDP) and is responsible for a team of Sales Managers and Lending protection Managers who deliver lending expertise, coaching, sales training, financial industry insights and Channel Optimization to credit Unions. Karim is also part of the National LDP team which is accountable for achieving critical success factors related to credit union strategic goals and objectives, growth and member penetration. He also ensures that CUNA Mutual Group’s lending expertise is fully leveraged to support credit unions and their members.
