We will explore the impact of proposed changes and potential termination of chain (family) migration, DACA, TPS and diversity lottery from an employer's perspective. In addition to the impact to the labor market, we will discuss specific steps employers must take with respect to their I-9 compliance obligations as a result of broad changes to our immigration system. Finally, we will discuss lawful screening tools to help employers make better hiring decisions when candidates require employer sponsorship, as well as the impact of immediate and proposed changes to the employment-based immigration system.
