The Culture Mastery 4 C’s Process™ is an intercultural competency and culture-emotion intelligence model that has been proven successful for over ten years in for many expats living and working across cultures. The presentation references the work of Ms. Gokun-Silver, Joerg Schmitz, Werner Erhard, Rick Carson, and John Gottman. The assessment from the Culture Mastery 4 C's Process™ is followed-up by the methodology that develops culture-emotion intelligence. The intangible elements of culture (values, beliefs, and traditions) are often full of emotions. This emotional undertow often makes changing cultures a struggle and will define how difficult or easy it’s going to be for anyone to adjust to the habits and behaviors of the new culture. This 4 C’s Process™ of the Culture Mastery program helps individuals understand the “why” of their emotional response to working in another culture and provides them with tools to become emotionally intelligent and competent.
