In today's world rife with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, it is critical that interculturalists equip themselves with the necessary skills to address challenging topics and to foster transformative change. To succeed requires a careful balance by being both detached and interconnected. Detachment is vital to maintain poise and a calm mind when dealing with conflict or contentious environments. Interconnection is key to exploring different perspectives, cultivating empathy, and finding commonalities. This session will provide intercultural practitioners with mindfulness-based practices centered around the Conscious Collaboration Model™. They will learn skills to be more grounded, move beyond biases that may hinder their ability to connect authentically with others, and examine techniques to bridge cultural divides to promote healing, understanding, harmony and unity.
