Have you ever thought about creating an assessment tool? This workshop offers participants the opportunity to think about that potential assessment tool that they have in their heads. The facilitator experienced an issue of immobilization in learning. She sought to address it through creating a model and an assessment tool. Although not validated, she has shared it with people who resonate with it. Participants will walk through a 4 step process: 1. identifying issues they have observed, as well as their impact on others; 2. exploring connection with cultural factors; 3. creating their own model on the spot; and 4. thinking about an assessment framework. The workshop is designed to support creativity - participants are invited to share their thinking with the large group. The facilitator gives an overall summary of the formal validation process, with resources to help.
