In this presentation we will choose 3 children's books and we will look at how their authors approach the ideas of change and adjustment, and describe values. We will naturally end up with a plethora of metaphors and figures of speech that we can then use in the training room to the benefit of the young participants' active learning about cultures. On the basis of our analysis, we will present 3 activities for the training room and, in so doing, we will refer to the DMIS to substantiate the presentation content.
