Deputy Director Loan Portfolio Manager

The Deputy Director & Loan Portfolio Manager is a new position (hereinafter ‘Deputy Director’) that has the primary responsibility for managing the Housing Trust Fund’s portfolio of existing loans, working with developers to secure a pipeline of future loans, underwriting and prepare information needed for reporting to investors, funders, and others. The Deputy Director will also underwrite, document, review, and close loans for affordable housing projects, as well as monitor loans for those projects through the development process. The Deputy Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with other staff and partners (Executive Committee, Board of Directors, bookkeepers, banks, borrowers, etc.).

Leadership Development Programs Manager
California Coalition for Rural Housing
The Leadership Development Programs Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Leadership Development Programs in the development and administration of CCRH’s Internship Program and Rural Emerging Leaders Program. The programs are designed to attract, train and retain Black, Indigenous, People of Color to the rural California affordable housing development industry through structured leadership development programs. The programs operate on a yearly basis providing training in affordable housing development, guidance and mentoring support to participants. In addition, this position provides staff support to CCRH’s Race, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Board Committee focusing on efforts to deepen the organization’s commitment to racial equity in our rural affordable housing field.

Marketing, Education & Outreach Associate- PG&E's ESA CAM

TRC Advanced Energy (TRC), a nationally known consultancy, is seeking a Project Associate to support marketing, education, and outreach (ME&O) initiatives for two low income, multifamily energy efficiency programs in California. This position is responsible for delivering program awareness, developing relationships with current and prospective participants, identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience, and achieving program participation that support energy savings goals.

The duties of the position will be executed through direct outreach and engagement with multifamily property owners/representatives, contractors/construction teams, and other program implementers under the guidance of the ME&O Manager and the program management team. This position requires communicating with customers by phone and email.

Previous ME&O experience in energy efficiency, residential or multifamily, low income, property or asset management, and/or green building is highly desirable. Candidate must be detail-oriented, have strong communication and customer service skills, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities. This position is located in one of TRC’s northern California offices: Oakland, San Francisco, or Rancho Cordova (Sacramento area). Remote working is currently in effect.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Conducting marketing strategies that reach target audiences based on program goals
Conducting direct outreach to current and prospective participants
Providing direct customer service to eligible properties and lead generation
Developing contacts with existing and potential customers/program stakeholders
Evaluate properties for program eligibility, including review and handling of confidential information
Coordinating presentations or events that promote program offerings
Coordinating program trainings
Coordinating and contributing to content development
Coordinating with external program teams and maintaining relationships

Previous experience with utility programs, building performance principles, renewable/energy efficiency technologies, Title 24, benchmarking, or construction management is highly desirable. The position will be located in one of TRC’s California offices: Encinitas, San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland or Rancho Cordova (Sacramento). Remote working is currently in effect.

JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Collectively support program Operations Lead, Technical Manager, and Case Managers to deliver comprehensive program services to multifamily customers and contractors
Play a key role in supporting energy efficiency project close-outs and distribution of large-scale payments (e.g., $100,000+) for multifamily properties owners and contractors
Conduct property-level benchmarking using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database
Maintain a strong proficiency in program requirements for consulting with enrolled and prospective customers regarding program participation
Provide professional customer support on a range of items including program requirements, technical assistance, problem-solving, and timely project status updates
Collect, analyze, and maintain project data with a high level of accuracy
Support the maintenance and data accuracy of the program’s online database
Provide project design and technical assistance support to Operations Lead and Case Managers
