Under general direction, Wildlife Staff Specialists perform program research, planning, analysis and evaluation; draft proposed legislation, policies, procedures and regulations related to wildlife management programs and activities throughout the State.
The incumbent will plan, design, develop and maintain an agency-wide Geographic Information System (GIS), including species occurrence data, habitat data, and other associated GIS data layers using ESRI desktop tools, ArcGIS Server, Enterprise and local GeoDatabases, ArcGIS Online and Survey123. The incumbent will be responsible for full-performance system software support, and statistical and spatial analysis.
