Community Educator
Pride Center of Staten Island
Reporting to the Education and Outreach Manager, the Community Educator plans, develops, and facilitates LGBTQ Cultural Awareness Trainings to service providers and organizations across Staten Island. This position cultivates and maintains relationships with local schools, community groups, and individuals on behalf of the Pride Center of Staten Island, and represents the Pride Center of Staten Island at community events.
This is a part-time position (20 hours/week).

Program Manager
Pride Center of Staten Island
Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing a wide range of programs and services at the Pride Center of Staten Island. The Program Manager will lead several program models (Senior Services, Youth Services, Grrrl Power, HIV Prevention, Counseling Services, and Luv on a Leash) and supervise program staff. They will review on an ongoing basis services being offered and develop new programs as needs emerge and resources allow. The Program Manager will inform the Program Director, the Executive Director, and ultimately the board of directors, of all program issues and accomplishments.
The Program Manager, in consultation with the Program Director, is responsible for all program planning, organizing, and staffing. They are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the program aspects of the annual budget in conjunction with the Program Director.

TGNC Support Services Manager
Pride Center of Staten Island
Reporting to the Counseling Services Manager, the TGNC Support Services Manager develops and implements support services that aim to empower transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. The TGNC Support Services Manager will develop and implement a case management program, facilitate support groups, and build a robust network of resources and referrals to services that meet the various needs of TGNC individuals. Additionally, the TGNC Support Services Manager will supervise the Case Worker as well as MSW interns.

Pride Center of Staten Island
Reporting to the TGNC Support Services Manager, the TGNC Case Worker will provide support services that aim to empower transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. The TGNC Case Worker will manage a case load of TGNC individuals and will connect those individuals to appropriate services and resources.

Youth Services Program Assistant
Pride Center of Staten Island
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Youth Services Program Assistant supports the Grrrl Power and Youth Drop-In programs at the Pride Center of Staten Island as well as a potential satellite site. This includes planning programs, developing a monthly calendar, coordinating with community partners and volunteers who provide programming, making referrals to programs in-house and at other organizations for youth participants (in consultation with the Program Manager), supervising Grrrl Power and Youth Drop-In activities and programs, outreaching to recruit LGBTQ and allied youth into Pride Center programming, and assisting with Youth Services and Pride Center special events.
This is a part-time position with 18 hours/week.

Transgender Youth Services Navigator
The San Diego LGBT Community Center
Under the direction of the Director of Youth Services and in coordination with the Transgender Services Coordinator and the Hillcrest Youth Center Coordinator, this position is responsible for conducting outreach to transgender and gender non-confirming youth ages 10 to 24 years old in schools and other youth serving systems.  This person will also provide intensive case management services to transgender and gender non-conforming youth and will provide HIV testing as necessary.  Additionally, they are required to develop and maintain close working relationships and coalitions with other youth-serving individuals and systems within the County of San Diego. The Transgender Youth Services Navigator will provide training to community-based organizations as requested.

This position is full time and salaried with benefits. The Director of Engagement reports to the President/CEO and works closely in partnership with them to oversee and execute a comprehensive development and marketing strategy

Position requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (required), Master’s Degree (a plus)
Minimum of 3 years required experience in development, fundraising, or related experience in a non-profit environment; 5 years (preferred)
Familiarity with, and a passion for LGBT issues
High energy, positive leadership, “can-do” attitude, flexibility, and capacity to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated excellence organizing, managing, and communicating with staff/volunteers
Experience researching grant opportunities, structuring, writing, and editing persuasive proposals
Superior verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, taking initiative, and discretion are essential.
Ability to exercise good judgment in prioritizing multiple tasks and making independent decisions
Interest in developing staff and volunteers as future leaders
Strong partnership building, marketing, and event planning skills
Experience with web and multimedia based electronic and social media fundraising campaigns
Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as necessary.
