Job Summary/Basic Function:
TC NEXT provides students and alumni with career coaching and postgraduate support; access to networking and community engagement, internships, research opportunities, and fellowships; career identification; and job search process assistance. TC NEXT has a clear vision and is building the offering to support that vision; this role will be integral in creating the ultimate model for best-practice graduate career services.
Reporting to the Director of TC NEXT, the Associate Director, Coaching and Programming will supervise a team including Career Coach, Programming Coordinator, and work-study students; lead strategy development for the Coaching and Programming offerings; oversee program planning and evaluation; manage outreach and communications with internal departments, program directors and faculty on career-related events; and work with the TC NEXT team to deliver and execute on the team vision. This position is practiced in creating career support in response to student needs and brings a combination of grounded expertise and the capacity to innovate and build.
Responsibilities:
Coaching and Programming Strategy Development
Work with Director of TC NEXT and Senior Associate Director of TC NEXT to set and refine goals and metrics for the Coaching and Programming team
Serve as expert voice on graduate-level Coaching and Programming, reflecting best practices and structures from the field and making recommendations for how to refine TC NEXT’s Coaching and Programming offerings
