The UDSMR team of clinical and coding experts is comprised of CRRNs, RNs, PTs, OTs, PTAs, OTAs, Therapeutic Recreation, Health Care Management, Him Coding Specialists, and HIM Coders. The clinical team members are all inpatient medical rehabilitation specialists with many years of experience.
In a time of regulatory change as a Clinical Support Specialist you will be a member of a professional team of clinicians who provides education, training and consultation to over 900 UDSMR subscribing IRFs. You will interact and answer questions from subscribing facilities through our clinical support help desk, participate in chart audits, develop webinars and full day workshops, present onsite and regional trainings, provide customized consulting services and participate in the development of educational materials. You will be working with rehabilitation healthcare professionals that are knowledgeable in all aspects of IRF. The UDSMR clinicians are the recognized experts in the rules and regulations that all Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities must follow.
We are seeking the candidate who has experience working in an IRF and fully comprehends IRF regulations. Applicants who will thrive in our company should be self-driven learners who are energized by keeping abreast of the medical rehabilitation industry and the ongoing CMS regulatory changes.
