University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center The Neuroradiology division of the Department of Radiology at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University is seeking a fellowship-trained, board certified or board eligib... le neuroradiologist. The Department of Radiology serves a network of 18 hospitals and over 50 ambulatory sites with a large catchment area.
The selected candidate will join a state-of-the art subspecialty Neuroradiology Division. In addition to general neuroradiology, faculty will have the opportunity to develop a further career focus in spine imaging/spine procedures, head and neck imaging, brain/ brain tumor imaging or stroke/ trauma neuroradiology if desired.
The department is committed to academic excellence in image-based clinical care. Candidates must be dedicated to teaching future radiologists. The Case Center for Imaging Research is one of the leading MRI development labs in the world and there are excellent opportunities to collaborate with multiple disciplines in basic and translational research. Thomas Jefferson University The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated postdoctoral fellow to join our research team focused on translational neuroimaging research studies. Th... is multi-year position is supported by an NIH funded research project. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians to investigate relationships between advanced multi-parametric brain and spinal cord magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and functional (motor, sensory, and pain) correlates within a clinical population. This collaborative project will be guided by faculty of the Thomas Jefferson University (TJU). She/he will also have the opportunity to explore his/her own independent scientific interest's in brain and spine imaging on a 3T Siemens Prisma as well as 3T mMR biograph (simultaneous MR and PET imaging) scanners. Recent Ph.D. graduates in Physics, Biomedical, Computer and/or Electrical engineering or related fields with MRl experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, biophysics, or a related field with expertise in neuroimaging, MR imaging analysis, statistical analysis, and a passion for translational research. Some prior experience with clinical research is expected. This position provides an intellectually stimulating and collaborative neuroscience and biomedical engineering community with many opportunities for career development and scientific growth.
