Psychologische Hochschule Berlin The Psychologische Hochschule Berlin (PHB), Department for Developmental, Educational, and Family Psychology (Prof. Dr. Rebecca Bondü) offers a research position (predoc, postdoc;... 50%) starting November or December 1st, 2021 for a period of maternal leave (minimum 6 months).
The PHB is an officially recognized academy on university level in private, nonprofit sponsorship. The focus of the research group is on risk and protective factors for prosocial and antisocial behavior as well as mental health in different age groups. In particular, the appointed researcher will investigate traits that reflect a specific vulnerability towards negative social cues, such as injustice or rejection, and their role for (mal)adaptive development on the basis of two large prospective data sets. Other research topics, such as aggressive fantasies are also possible. You can expect to work in a motivated and communicative team with many opportunities for scientific exchange.
Duties and responsibilities will involve: • Quantitative analyses of large-scale prospective data • Authoring English publications and presentations
Your profile: • Completed diploma or master’s degree (as well as PhD) in Psychology • Proven knowledge and use of advanced statistical methods (e.g., Multilevel Analysis, Structural equation modeling, Meta-analysis, Missing data analysis) • Use of and familiarity with statistical packages, including SPSS, Mplus, STATA, and/or R • Excellent English language skills • Very good oral and written communication skills • Ability to work conscientiously, independently, and as part of a team

Gesucht wird eine Psychologin/ein Psychologe mit einschlägiger kriminalps... ychologischer Expertise, abgeschlossener Promotion (vorzugsweise im Bereich der Kriminalpsychologie), hervorragenden Kenntnissen quantitativer Methoden sowie eigener Forschungserfahrung. Erfahrungen in der Einwerbung von Drittmitteln sind erwünscht. Der Aufgabenbereich erfordert ausgeprägte Leitungs-, Kommunikations- und Organisationsfähigkeiten sowie ein hohes Maß an Teamfähigkeit und Motivation. Die Möglichkeit zur Habilitation ist gegeben und es wird erwartet, dass diese genutzt wird. Die Anstellung ist zunächst befristet auf die Dauer von sechs Jahren. Nach Abschluss der Habilitation kann eine Verstetigung der Stelle erfolgen. Die Vergütung erfolgt nach TV-L E 14 (100%).
