Chancellor's Fellowship
University of Edinburgh
Chancellor’s Fellowships are designed to support talented early career researchers to develop into a leading research-active academics at the University of Edinburgh.

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is appointing up to 10 Chancellor’s Fellows, who will have a demonstrable track record of innovative research, teaching and/or knowledge exchange, and the potential to make an outstanding contribution to furthering the University’s and the College’s strategic goals.

We would particularly welcome applications from researchers working in social psychology, in particular those with experience of mixed methods.

Given the particular barriers facing female researchers and those from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups, the scheme aims to appoint at least 50% female and 20% BAME applicants. We therefore particularly encourage applications from these groups and from other under-represented groups such as disabled candidates. We also encourage applications from those with non-traditional career paths, including those returning from a period of parental leave, or those who have moved to academia from a career in another sector.
