K-12 Education Product Manager

The Product Manager will help develop ELA and Mathematics classroom resources and tools for K-12 educators across the country who are working to align their instruction to college- and career-ready standards. Using K-12 education market data, audience feedback, and internal expertise, the Product Manager will keep the current product suite relevant and identify opportunities to create new classroom tools and resources that drive forward the organizational strategy. The Product Manager will oversee the development of standards-aligned ELA and Mathematics resources and tools from inception to launch.


Specific Job Responsibilities
• Lead new K-12 education product development, including establishing need and audience, defining the minimum viable product (MVP), creating prototypes, testing, and producing the final deliverable.
• Manage our existing tools (digital and print), including developing and maintaining long term product strategies and roadmaps for the tools most critical to the organization’s mission.
• Oversee ongoing digital tool enhancement and maintenance.
• Work with the Digital Content Associate to collect and monitor key analytics for our tools and resources (digital and print), and make recommendations about our resources and the promotion of those resources based on findings.
• Collaborate with the Content Specialists and Digital Strategy Manager on development and prioritization of tools to serve the organization’s strategy and meet the needs of the K-12 educator audience.

Qualifications
• BA required
• 3+ years’ product management experience strongly preferred: digital and print products

About the Position
The Digital Content Associate will inform and implement the content strategy for the Student Achievement Partners website (and other digital properties), email, and social channels to ensure that resources and key messages reach educators nationwide. S/he will be responsible for creating and managing content that helps connect educators with free, aligned materials and tools. The person in this role will contribute to the development of a communications strategy, design and monitor campaigns on social media, and regularly collect and analyze data to help ensure effective implementation of best practices that will help us to meet educator needs. In addition, the Digital Content Associate will attend to the ongoing maintenance of the website and digital tools.

Responsibilities
• Maintain the Student Achievement Partners website and digital tools
• Create, post, and refresh content on the website
• Create, monitor, and manage campaigns and other social media content
• Collect, analyze, and respond to user feedback and performance data for both the website and social media
• Contribute to the development of a communications strategy and support the execution of that strategy, including identifying important voices and partners, exploring best practices, testing and iterating on new ideas, and surfacing high-value resources to meet the needs of the audience

Candidate Requirements
Eligible candidates must have a passion for the mission of Student Achievement Partners and a demonstrated commitment to educational equity.
• Experience managing a Facebook and Twitter account for another person or organization; experience managing a CMS strongly preferred
• Experience gathering and analyzing site and/or social performance data; familiarity with Google analytics preferred

Leadership Coach-ELA Instruction & Design

POSITION

In the coming year, Leading Educators will be partnering with networks to support the implementation of high quality curricular resources through teacher-driven professional learning. The Instructional Leadership Coach role will coach teams of teacher leaders, along with school leaders, in designing and facilitating cycles of professional learning. This role will support the customization and design of content and curricular specific cycles of professional learning. The cycles of professional learning are research based cycles that leverage the College and Career Ready Standards for ELA and Mathematics as the focus for adult learning.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position reports to the Program Director and has the following primary responsibilities:

Instructional Coaching
Provide regular, in-person coaching and other support to school teams as they lead ELA or Math content teams, conduct informal classroom observations, and provide feedback to teachers.

Develop school leaders and teacher leaders in:

ELA Content Knowledge and Pedagogical Content Knowledge, including a deep understanding of College and Career Ready Standards, and high quality curricular resources for English Language Arts (e.g. CKLA Skillstrand)

Leadership and management skills needed to support College and Career Ready Standards-aligned Professional Learning Systems

School conditions necessary for strong teacher development.

Facilitate quarterly data reviews with school teams to support collaboration and progress toward shared goals.

Build deep and trusting relationships across district/CMO leaders, principals, teacher leaders and teachers and align development needs across these stakeholder groups



Design and Delivery of Sessions

Align sessions to curriculum, current research and best practices through ongoing learning and partnering with practitioners and experts within and outside of Leading Educators

Collaboratively design high quality professional learning experiences for district/CMO leaders, school leaders, and teacher leaders

Facilitate sessions at various local programming events and national Leading Educators programming events.

Synthesize insights from schools and internal professional learning to drive program innovation
