This HR professional is responsible for interacting with and advising organizational leaders and staff related to the areas of Talent Management, including recruitment, employee relations, coaching, onboarding, employee engagement, professional development and performance management. In addition, this position will fully manage various projects related to Talent Management, under the direction of HR leaders. The competitive candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage his/her time and performance outcomes with varying deadlines and priorities. The competitive candidate will also have demonstrated experience in coaching leaders and/or employees to successful outcomes.

The successful candidate will be capable of adjusting his/her communication style to resonate with the intended audience. This person must consistently demonstrate clear and thoughtful communication that upholds Columbus Regional Health service standards and accurately represents CRH Human Resource policies, practices and state/federal employment laws.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's strongly preferred, in HR, Business, or a related field.
5+ years' professional experience in Human Resources, Leadership or Workforce Coaching and Development is required (in a Human Resources or Organizational Development department/unit, not just as a manager or leader in other departments), with healthcare industry experience strongly preferred. Strong preference will be given to candidates with Business Partner experience, and those with professional HR certifications (e.g. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) that demonstrate a technical proficiency in the field of Human Resources.

POSITION SCHEDULE:
Mon-Fri office hours, 40+ hours/week, exempt (salaried).

Manager- Leadership & Staff Development
Columbus Regional Health
The Manager reports to the Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development, and collaborates with the other HR Leaders and HR Partners on the Talent Management team to drive successful workforce outcomes across the Columbus Regional Health system.

This position is specifically responsible for innovating and implementing corporate-level programs on leadership development, succession planning, leadership and staff performance management, leader competencies, learning management system and standards, house-wide compliance training, and new employee orientation and onboarding.

This individual is responsible for leading the following programs using the 5 components of project management:

1. Performance Management
2. Leadership development
3. Staff Development
4. Succession Planning

In addition, this individual is operationally responsible for:

Supporting and facilitating new employee orientation as needed.
Supporting leaders and staff in the use of our Learning Management System (HealthStream) and engaging the vendor on tier 2 issues, as needed.
Supporting leaders and staff in the use of our 2 different Performance Management systems (Healthcare Source's Performance Manager & Franklin Covey's Apex) and engaging the vendors on tier 2 issues, as needed.
Providing real-time coaching to leaders on the design and implementation of performance development plans for both staff and leaders.
Position qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Adult Education or Curriculum Design, HR/Organizational Development, or other equivalent program, with Master's degree preferred. 5+ years related experience in creating/maintaining Growth & Development programs for a large institution is preferred, with such experience in a Healthcare setting strongly desired.

This is a full-time, salaried position located in the Human Resources department at CRH (Columbus, Indiana).
