Research Analyst- 2 Positions
Community College of Rhode Island The Office of Institutional Effectiveness at CCRI is a strategic partner in creating an environment that promotes and supports the use of data and analytics and action research to guide decision-making and institutional improvement.
The Research Analyst will perform research, administrative and analytical duties in order to assist the Director of Institutional Research and Analytics in making operational, planning and management decisions for the College. The Research Analyst will work independently and manage research projects with minimal supervision.
Director of Applied Institutional Research
Penn State University The Director for Applied Institutional Research will lead the development and exploration of applied research questions that are fundamental to higher education and informed through relationships with a wide array of University leaders across 24 campus locations. The Director will be responsible for designing, conducting, and leading institutional research studies, including studies that incorporate predictive and prescriptive modeling. The Director will utilize University and external data systems to develop in-depth statistical analyses on topics related to institutional effectiveness including, but not limited to, access and success of students, faculty tenure and promotion, campus climate, and post-graduation outcomes. The Director will lead, supervise, and mentor a team of institutional research analysts and will report to the Assistant Vice Provost for Institutional Research to ensure that the office’s research agenda is targeted, meaningful, and in direct support of University goals. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing meaningful research questions related to issues in higher education, as well as experience in designing and implementing institutional research studie. Senior IR Analyst Diversity Focus
University of Delaware Under general supervision of the Director of Institutional Research, the Senior Institutional Research Analyst has primary responsibility for supporting data collection, analysis, reporting and dissemination of information regarding diversity at the University of Delaware. This position supports all units on campus needing tracking, analysis and reporting of University diversity efforts. For the duration of the NSF HRD-ADVANCE-Institutional Transformation contract the incumbents efforts will be allocated to that program in proportion to the grant funding (currently 50%) for the purpose of analysis and reporting of the ADVANCE efforts and outcomes. The incumbent will develop and implement best practices across all aspects of the University diversity data and assessment efforts. The position reports to the Director of Institutional Research with input for periodic review and annual appraisals from the Director of UD ADVANCE Institute.
