The Work Based Learning Coordinator will implement a comprehensive plan to engage employers and develop work-based learning opportunities for students to include co-ops, internships and other experiential learning opportunities. As a member of the Career Services team, this position assists with resume preparation, interview skill development, and other skills valued by employers. Utilizes technology and social media to communicate to students and employers. Provides individual career counseling and proactively engages students and prospective students who indicate they are undecided as to College major or career path. Works with academic divisions to facilitate the delivery of targeted career development presentations to students.

Curriculum Coordinator II

Tri-County Technical College seeks a creative, learning-focused Curriculum Developer to support diverse initiatives of the Technical Skills for Success (TSS) department and the newly established Integrated Workforce Solutions Division. The successful candidate will be skilled in designing varied curriculum products (courses, materials/activities, workshops, etc.) and will enjoy working simultaneously on multiple projects in a fast-paced and highly collaborative work environment. The Curriculum Developer position reports to the Director of Technical Skills for Success (TSS).

Job Duties:

1. Develops course materials – e.g., learning outcomes, course/unit objectives, and comprehensive assessments in accordance with curriculum owner (department/division) preferences, Office of Curriculum and Instructional Support requirements, SACS accreditation requirements, TSS program/initiative needs and/or other stakeholder requirements; integrates into course design the College standards as well as TSS standards such as scaffolded learning and peer teaching skills. 25%

2. Designs course content for use in one or more schedule formats (standard term, condensed term, standard schedule, evening schedule, industry shift) and creates comprehensive Instructor Guides containing lesson outlines, assessment rubrics, classroom activities, instructor resources, etc.; documents products and artifacts of curriculum development work in appropriate formats for various stakeholders; adheres to copyright standards. 15%

3. Conducts research and needs assessments from various sources (faculty and workplace experts, DACUM products, commercial and professional sources, etc.) to inform the development process.

4. Collaborates with employers and others to design training materials, delivery structures, and learning outcome assessments appropriate to meet specific Integrated Workforce

Tri-County Technical College is seeking an innovative faculty member dedicated to student success and to meeting the diverse needs of our students for its Business Administration program. Applicants should possess expertise in the field of study and have a desire to work in a collaborative learner-centered environment focused on student learning and success. Applicants with demonstrated success in leading and managing an academic unit with a strong track record of teamwork and collaborative decision making may be considered for a possible Program Director appointment.

Instructor job duties include teaching, assessing and improving student learning, instructional development, advising students, and College service. Teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, online classes or hybrid classes on multiple campuses or high school and career center campuses.

Based at the Pendleton Campus, this non-tenured faculty librarian position contributes to and supports the Learning Commons through the planning for and administering of the website, maintaining metadata, developing and conducting outreach initiatives related to electronic resources and services and assessing the effectiveness of digital initiatives, services, and systems. This position serves as the library’s primary resource on copyright, fair use, and open access issues.

We seek candidates motivated by a passion to develop transformative library services, knowledgeable of electronic management systems used in academic libraries, and able to demonstrate the ability to plan projects, prioritize, and manage a variety of responsibilities and projects.
