The role of Residential Coordinator is to oversee their assigned Residential houses and to ensure that the Newport Program runs smoothly from a day to day basis. The Residential Coordinator works directly with the Care Coordinator Staff of their house offering direction, support and feedback. The Residential Coordinator also acts a liaison to the Clinical Team as well as all the other group facilitators, sharing information and direct plans with the Care Coordinator’s to offer the most up to date and individualized treatment for our Residents. Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Family Therapist is the primary contact for families assigned on their caseload. The Family Therapist facilitates individual, family and group therapy, including new Parent Orientations and the Saturday Family Program.

Responsibilities


The Clinical Director reports directly to the Executive Director and works in collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer. The Clinical Director supervises therapists, counselors, and ancillary clinical team including outside consultants. The Clinical Director provides oversight for the Residential Clinical Program at Newport Academy in Connecticut. Duties include clinical supervision and support, peer reviews as part of the utilization review process, assignment of caseloads and groups, and implementation of clinical programming and protocols as developed in collaboration with the on-site Executive Director, Chief Clinical Officer, and/or Director of Program Development. The Clinical Director provides crisis intervention and is on call 24/7 for support to the On-Call Clinician and Executive Director/Residential Coordinators. The Clinical Director may carry a caseload to fill a vacancy or as needed to assist with challenging residents or families and support the Saturday Family Program as needed.
Youth and Family Therapist

The Therapist, using short- and long-term individual and family therapy, group counseling, educational classes and case management services, provides prevention and intervention services to children, youth, families, and communities.
A. Counseling Services
1. Part of a 60% direct service goal requiring an ongoing caseload of 30-32 clients (1.0 FTE).
2. Provide individual, couple, family and group counseling, intake and assessment, crisis intervention, drop-in, and follow up services. Services are provided in the office, at local schools, and/or by phone, or at other locations as assigned by Program Manager.

B. Community Education
1. Part of a 60% direct service goal.
2. Provide education and prevention services, i.e., parenting classes, skill building classes, and community and school trainings and presentations.

C. Outreach
1. Part of a 60% direct service goal.
2. Provide ongoing outreach to children, youth, parents, schools and communities to ensure awareness of community needs and service availability.
3. Develop and maintain positive relations with community referral sources.

D. Case Management
1. Part of a 60% direct service goal.
2. Provide case consultation, linkage to and coordination of services with collateral contacts and advocacy for assigned clients.
3. Utilize agency programs/services in efforts to provide a continuum of care.

E. Documentation and Evaluation
1. Provide necessary agency and program statistical information and information necessary for program/services evaluation.
2. Maintain case records in an accurate and timely manner per all WAC, COA, PHP and King County requirements.
3. Meet with supervisor on a regular basis and attend required meetings, consultations and trainings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. Education and Experience
1. Master's Degree in a Social Services field.
2. Washington State Counselor Registration or Washington State Counselor Certification or eligible for and working towards attaining certification.

Child and Family Therapist
Developing Minds
Due to overwhelming demand for services, Developing Minds is seeking a Child and Family Psychologist or Therapist (PsyD, LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) to join our multidisciplinary team at our Bothell location. This is a full-time (W2) position with an income potential of $60k to $90k annually based on a schedule of 25-35 patients per week. Our full-time therapists are eligible for benefits including a 50% employer paid health care plan (medical, dental, and vision) with a low deductible and low co-pay, paid time off, retirement contributions, and employer-paid liability insurance and licensing fees.

We have space for a limited number of clinicians to provide therapy services to patients primarily ages 6 to 13 with the option to expand the range to older teens and adults. Providers who have backgrounds in play, art, dance/music, or other therapeutic techniques or interests will fit right in!

More details:
Providers are expected to see 25-35 patients per week and evening hours are required (most of our providers work 12-8pm). Our intake team handles dozens of inquiries each day from new patients, and we have a waiting list of patients who are ready to start with their new provider.

Our administrative and operations team takes care of all marketing, new patient outreach, billing, scheduling, and credentialing, so you can focus on giving excellent care to your clients. We are not open on weekends and we do not provide crisis or walk-in services in order to encourage a healthy work-life balance for our providers.
