Home Visitor
Foothill Family Service EHS
The Home Visitor provides home visiting and family support services in the Early Head Start home based program. The Home Visitor (HV) will provide early childhood education in the family’s home, maintain enrollment, connect with services, and work with the family towards their child’s development and family goals. The HV will do outreach and coordinate services for EHS families.

Family Service Specialist
Foothill Family Service EHS
The Family Service Specialist provides family-centered, client-focused, relationship-based case management services to families in the Early Head Start (EHS) Child Care Partnerships (CCP) program. The Family Service Specialist supports parents’ knowledge and capacity to promote healthy child development through offering referral and linkage to resources, parent workshops, and one-on-one meetings. By maintaining close communication with the Foothill Family EHS child development team and the family’s EHS child care provider, the Family Service Specialist partners with each family to meet their family’s goals and promote regular attendance.

Partner Coach
Foothill Family Service EHS
The Partner Coach is responsible for assuring the delivery of comprehensive early childhood and education services to children enrolled in the Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships option. The Partner Coach provides training and technical assistance to Center and Family Child Care (FCC) Partners to ensure quality services and compliance with the EHS-CCP contract between Foothill Family and the FCC provider/Center Partner which is guided by the Head Start Program Performance Standards and State of California licensing regulations.

Family Support Specialist HFA
Foothill Family Service EHS
The Family Support Specialist (FSS) provides weekly family support and parent-child dyadic activities in the HFA home based program. The FSS will carry a caseload of 15 to 20 high risk/high needs prenatal women and/or women with children ages 0-5. The FSS will conduct needs/case management assessments, provide early child development curriculum to parents, case management to families, and administer developmental assessments for children and depression screenings for mothers. The FSS will support parents in learning how to appropriately respond to their child’s cues and coach parents on strategies that foster and facilitate their child’s emerging development.

Program Supervisor, HFA

The HFA Program Supervisor provides weekly individual and group supervision that incorporates administrative, clinical and reflective practices. The HFA Program Supervisor assures quality of service provision and monitoring of program’s direct service staff for contract compliance. The HFA Program Supervisor protects the integrity of the program and demonstrates respect for the parallel process by supporting, guiding and building on the strengths of staff so that they may best support, guide and build on the strengths of the families served.

As a Health Data Entry Clerk for our program under general supervision of the Health Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for providing data entry support for the operation and delivery of Health services. Inputting immunizations, physical and dental exams, and health screening results in a timely manner to meet Head Start Performance Standards; assist with filing of health data; prepare
health supply orders; support the Health department in coordinating health classes for staff (e.g., CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen), and screenings for children; furthermore, support staff with reminder follow up calls to families regarding health requirements as well as assisting with incoming calls to the health department. Ensuring that data input is accurate, complete, consistent and in accordance with OCHS plans, policies and procedures.

Education Development Coach

Standards and the Head Start Act of 2007; assisting with the implementation of a CLASS monitoring system and training and technical assistance plan for the grantee and delegate agencies to ensure professional development of teachers, quality teaching practices, and compliance with all applicable regulations; observing classrooms utilizing the CLASS and curriculum fidelity monitoring tools, and preparing related paperwork and reports to identify and inform the teacher professional development system.
