Manager, Economic Development Analysis and Strategy

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Operations, the Manager, Economic Development Analysis and Strategy, is responsible for writing research and analysis reports for ResearchFDI’s economic development clientele. She/he will conduct extensive secondary market research utilizing paid online information service tools as well as web research in order to collect information that will be used for the creation of industry reports, supply chain gap analyses, benchmarking reports, strategy reports, company reports, value propositions, and others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collection and analysis of economic data and information using premium and unpaid online sources
Data assessment, organization and conversion into meaningful insights for economic development professionals
Report writing based on client requirements and criteria
Designing, assessing and altering reports
Analysis of new mandates and the design and creation of appropriate report outlines
Staying up to date on technology trends and best practices used by market research and consulting firms and economic developers
Report and update internal stakeholders on the progress of each assigned task
