Assistant Director

The Assistant Director provides support for one or more sorority/fraternity governing councils and a portion of the 68 individual chapters (all are advised between the four Assistant Directors and two Associate Directors). The Assistant Director will be responsible for interpreting and educating students, advisors and staff on applicable campus policies and procedures, including the student organization conduct process. Responsible for providing emergency response and crisis intervention to the fraternity and sorority community when needed. Serves as one of the primary liaisons with the Office of Student Conduct for student organization misconduct cases, including, but not limited to, assisting with the development, assessment and implementation of action plans for organization misconduct cases. Recruits, trains, and helps coordinate the SFL Student Judicial Board in collaboration with the Assistant Director for Compliance and serves as a hearing officer for Office of Student Conduct organizational misconduct cases.
