St. John the Apostle Catholic School is seeking a part time or full-time math teacher for middle school for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The desired applicant will fulfill the mission of St. John the Apostle Catholic School by modeling the teachings of the Church. The applicant will assist parents with the education and formation of students in Truth, Beauty, and Goodness by providing Catholic Christ-centered experiences along with challenging academics and formative student activities that engage different learning styles.

Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet the minimum requirements for classroom teachers as set forth by the Diocese of Fort Worth and TCCBED, have experience teaching middle school math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I, possess a high level of content mastery, excellent classroom management skills, and be able to provide active and engaging instruction. Applicant should have the ability to collaborate well with colleagues.

The successful applicant may be asked to teach another course, based on background, experience, and the school’s needs.

Development Associate
Taste Community Restaurant
The Development Associate is responsible for implementing the annual fundraising plan for Taste Project, including small annual events, fundraising appeals and grant writing. The Development Associate will also manage a portfolio of mid-level donors to personally cultivate and steward through a relationship management process to move donors up to the next level of giving. He or she will also work closely with the Executive Director to organize and implement the major giving fundraising program and assist with management of all donor portfolios. They will also manage the donor database and other development operations as needed.

Philanthropy Director

Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD) seeks an experienced Philanthropy Director. This individual will be responsible for the development and growth of RMHD’s fundraising pipeline by ensuring the success of RMHD’s relationship with foundations, corporations and individual donors. His/her duties will include strategizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts from these core constituencies. This individual will also be instrumental in securing new sponsors in support of RMHD’s signature special events. This person must show a demonstrated ability to write and secure foundation grants. A deep knowledge of all fundraising processes, including but not limited to donor prospecting, major gift solicitation, grant writing, donor appeals, planned giving, and special events sponsorships are all key to the success of this position. The Philanthropy Director reports to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and also works closely with the CEO. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and highly organized with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of fundraising experience and a proven track record in securing new relationships, funding and sponsorships as well as excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business, communications or liberal arts related field. CFRE is a plus. Knowledge of MS Office and Raiser’s Edge/NXT is a must.
