Early Learning Consultant
Learning Genie Job Scope: Learning Genie Inc is seeking an Early Learning Consultant to provide professional consulting for Continuous Quality Improvement through methodology change and technology enhancement for Head Start and Early Head Start agencies.
Responsibilities: This position provides comprehensive consulting services for Learning Genie on enhancing the technology used for the Head Start community. The technology/service will drive the agency into fully data-powered PDSA (Plan Do Study Act) operational practice. The consultant would provide reviews on the technology, and develop PD on how to drive data-driven cultural and practical hands-on processes employing PDSA method.
Required Experience: Avid consultant/trainer to enhance Head Start / Early Head Start Quality Improvement. Experience and passion to use technology and data to drive operational optimization for agencies. Prior management position in one or more areas such as child development, family engagement, leadership, program management, health, mentoring, and training, as well as fiscal operations. Experience in planning, developing, and facilitating workshops and webinars at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

Responsible for ensuring all education and early childhood development activities within the assigned centers are in compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards, Agency Policies and Procedures, DECAL Regulations, NAEYC Guidelines and other applicable local, state and federal regulations; supervise and evaluates job performance of teaching staff, reviews weekly lesson plans to ensure inclusion of all components, provide training/technical assistance to classroom staff; monitor/review and analyze appropriate classroom data in order to enhance child outcomes; ensure the accuracy/timely completion of all education documentation, ensure classroom environment is safe, clean, organized, and inviting to students, networks with other child care professionals to share ideas, information and experiences relating to school readiness, observe teaching staff using a variety of observation tools and makes recommendations for improvements, plans cooperatively with classroom staff to meet the individual needs of children, assists in coordination and implementation of services to children with special needs, ensures developmentally appropriate materials are purchased for classrooms, attends all staff, parent, education, committee meetings, etc, as required by supervisor, secures and maintains CLASS observer reliability; ability to plan/organize/conduct training sessions for adults; assist in the evaluation of the education and early childhood developmental service delivery system; curriculum director serves as an educational coach to teachers/caregivers in Rabun County and Stephens County.
