The Position
The Finance and Accounting Department is currently seeking a Senior Accountant. This position provides professional level accounting and finance support, including the participation in preparation of various manual and automated financial reports including those required for year-end closing and audits; performs financial statement preparation, including dual-accounting basis reporting and audits by the independent, external auditors; evaluates accounting systems and implements changes; works with operating departments to develop accounting procedures and ensure compliance; and provides technical advice regarding accounting procedures and practices in the preparation of reports and statements.

Management Analyst 2
City of Gresham
The Management Analyst 2 works as part of the Budget and Financial Planning team under the direction of the Budget & Finance Director. While the successful candidate will report to the Budget and Finance Director, the position is embedded within its assigned organizational areas supporting development related functions for the City of Gresham such as building, planning, economic development and urban renewal. Within this environment, the Management Analyst 2 is responsible for a wide range of financial, budgetary, and project management assignments and acts as a liaison between assigned departments and Budget & Finance. Additionally, the City is currently completing its transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System with Tyler Technologies’ Munis and Energov software. This analyst will have the opportunity to assist its assigned departments in adapting to the new software in a post go-live environment and to seek ways to fully leverage the new tools and to streamline and improve related processes.
