Project Manager - Automotive Industry Training/ Development/ Solutions
Pro-Active Performance
Pro-Active Performance, a training and development service provider to luxury automotive brands, seeks a Project Manager (contract; future potential for employment) to manage and support development projects. Primary responsibilities include:
1. Provide input/feedback to Account Manager on initial development of project curriculum-related statements of work.
2. For approved projects, manage client relationship through the delivery of the project work; run status meetings, provide updates. In the course of project delivery with the client, listen for and elevate potential project extensions, scope changes and new business opportunities.
3. Identify curriculum elements (Presentations, handouts, pre-work, videos, web-based trainings, eWorkbooks, etc.) and track/manage development.
4. Working with the Curriculum Director/ resources, determine developer team and required scope for each resource to complete the project.
5. Coordinate and facilitate collaboration of the project team to achieve and exceed delivery of described work. Issue POs/contracts to project team members and manage the project budget. Develop and manage project timeline, project plan, and budget/margin.
6. Working with Program Director, manage project information, client-, team-, and company communication; maintain and manage shared project digital information, files and shared project folders.
7. Conduct After Action Reviews for each project.

Experience – PM requires five years / APM requires 3 years information technology (IT) project manager experience, preferably in the utility industry, or equivalent functional area work experience with increasing levels or position responsibility. Requires knowledge of project management techniques, experience to resolve complex problems, and practical experience in project scoping and cost estimating. Requires ability to analyze in-depth technical problems and determine the most cost-effective solution. Projects will fall in the cybersecurity domain. Candidate will be expected to be able to pass Tier 2 (Sensitive) Clearance (to be initiated on Day 1).
Certification/License, etc — Must possess or be working toward a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, as offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). ITIL and Agile certifications desired.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities — Project management qualifications are governed by TVA-SPP-34.018, Project Manager Training and Development. SPP 34.018 covers leadership competencies, such as communication skills, business acumen, problem solving and other related competencies required for project management professionals. Personnel assigned to manage projects must have the skills, ability and experience commensurate with the size and complexity of the project.
Position will be 100% remote, but candidate must be US citizens and located in the United States, as well as plan to attend meetings in the Eastern time zone.

Long hours may be needed at times on group/phone system cutover initiatives.
