Discipleship Coordinator
Bethany UMC The Discipleship Coordinator at Bethany will oversee and support all Discipleship-focused groups and courses at Bethany, including Sunday School classes, Grow Groups, Men’s and Wo... men’s groups, and short-term courses every fall and spring. This coordinating work will involve staying in contact with groups and leaders to support them through various stages of growth; ensuring that details of groups are accurate and updated frequently; helping groups find suitable material for study when needed; checking in with leaders periodically to assess healthiness and support needs; assisting leaders to resolve issues and bringing in a pastor when necessary; planning and coordinating churchwide communications for discipleship opportunities; and helping launch new groups periodically.
