Qualitative Data Manager

Hours/Pay Range: Up to 10 hours/week @ $25/hr

Summary/Objective:

Inspire to Change is looking for talented individuals who possess excellent data management and analytical skills who are interested in working for Inspire to Change: a growing consulting firm committed to the principles of Be & Become; Learn & Unlearn; Remember & Create; Disrupt & Liberate.

The Qualitative Data Manager and Analyst is responsible for contributing to the achievement of Inspire to Change’s goals through the design, development, and implementation of program evaluation. While the data will be mostly qualitative, this position will also use quantitative, arts-based, and other data modalities.

**This hybrid position requires 1 day in our Minneapolis OR Chicago office per week.**


Requirements:
Manage qualitative, arts-based, and quantitative data quality, organization, and storage
Code and analyze data using MaxQDA
Clean and organize transcripts from Zoom and Otter.ai
Develop qualitative, quantitative, and arts-based tools and instruments in Alchemer
Write summary reports of results in Google Docs, Google Slides, and Canvas as applicable
Keep the project teams informed on all relevant aspects of the study to complete the work within the expected timeframe and with the scientific rigor required
Assist in the preparation of publications for placement in journals, presentations, and other publications
Contribute to thought leadership within the organization on these topics
Communicate and interact effectively, with all key stakeholders (internally and externally) via conference calls and/or in-person meetings
Observe and/or moderate interviews as needed
Qualifications:
Basic working knowledge of the design and implementation of qualitative interviews, qualitative data analysis, surveys, and statistical analysis of responses
Experience with coding using qualitative

Program Description: The Evaluation, Data Integration, and Technical Assistance Program (EDIT), housed in the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing (ISGMH), is directed by Dr. Gregory Phillips II and attempts to foster a learning community to improve the health and wellbeing of sexual and gender minority (SGM) populations in Chicago and beyond.

Project Description: EDIT oversees several initiatives funded by the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH).
