We are looking for a highly creative and self-motivated Director of Advancement to develop and implement our nonprofit's communications and fundraising strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Foundation for Recovery’s overall development, marketing, and communications efforts. You'll seek and build relationships with new partners, the media, and donors, and tell the story of our brand and impact through creative content and memorable events and experiences. You will organize events, identify, and reach out to potential donors, and build marketing campaigns that increase public awareness about our services. You have the ability to segment and reach separate audiences to support the overall development of the organization. The heart of this position is relationship management and is suited for a true creative. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission and be equipped with technical skills in graphic design, social media and search engine marketing, experience with email marketing and donor databases, prior use of SMS and peer-to-peer texting, long-form copywriting such as blogs, op-eds and proposals, and be comfortable with Gsuite products, Google Analytics, and WordPress.
