Master Center is expanding and seeking talented Full-Time Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to work in the Glen Allen, Chesterfield, Hampton and Gloucester areas. We prefer Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with prior substance addiction treatments experience and/or psychiatric experience.
The responsibilities of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant include collaboration with physicians in monitoring, individualized medication. Our practice approach is to provide compassionate care that is individualized to the patient’s needs. Our providers are committed to helping people and treating patients with dignity, respect and kindness.
Master Center will support any necessary licensing, including attaining the buprenorphine waiver through SAMHSA. Qualified candidates must hold a current, in good-standing, NP or PA License. Experience in the field of addiction medicine is preferred but not required. A comprehensive addiction medicine provider education training program begins upon the day of hire.

The responsibilities of the Psychiatrist include collaboration with physicians in monitoring, individualized medication and treating SUD patients with co-occurring mental health disorders. Our practice approach is to provide compassionate care that is individualized to the patient’s needs. Our providers are committed to helping people and treating patients with dignity, respect and kindness.
Master Center will support any necessary licensing, including attaining the buprenorphine waiver through SAMHSA. Qualified candidates must hold a current, in good standing, License in practicing medicine as a psychiatrist. Experience in the field of addiction medicine is preferred but not required. A comprehensive addiction medicine provider education training program begins upon the day of hire.

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

Master Center for Addiction Medicine is an outpatient medical practice for people seeking help with substance abuse and dependency. We are headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia and expanding to Gloucester, Hampton, and Colonial Heights/Southern Chesterfield and we are seeking qualified and passionate CPRS's in all locations.
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) provides recovery coaching to individual patients and serves as a liaison to the providers and the treatment team in a busy, outpatient addiction practice that provides MAT, detox and sustained recovery programs. The CPRS facilitates patient encounters by orienting patients, taking histories, reporting to physicians and supporting patients in meeting treatment plans and recovery goals. The CPRS coaches patients through early recovery and maintains regular contact with patients to support patients and collect outcome data.
Qualifications: 2 years or more of personal sustained recovery. Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred (completed training, hours and passed the exam).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

The Farley Center at Williamsburg Place is seeking a PRN medical provider to join our team. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Complete history and physical exams and obtain diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders
2. Management of withdrawal for detox patients
3. Review laboratory findings with patients
4. Management of cooccurring medical and psychiatric conditions
5. Complete discharge visits to reconcile medications and continuing care.
