Big Sky Group Peer Support Thanks to the MOMS Grant, we have four training slots available to folks in Eastern Montana to attend a Group Peer Support training in March. This training allows interested suppo... rt group facilitators to learn and apply a trauma-informed model for leading meetings without judgment or advice. Our hope is to expand the network of perinatal support groups offered to new parents in Montana, by training facilitators and creating an ongoing learning community for them (which we call Big Sky GPS!).

MOMS Regional Engagement Coordinator
Billings Clinic This position is funded under the Montana Obstetrics and Maternal Support (MOMS) grant, a federally funded program targeting maternal mortality and severe maternal morbidity in Mo... ntana. The MOMS Regional Engagement Coordinator will serve on a number of MOMS initiatives that promote improved medical and behavioral healthcare for perinatal and postpartum mothers across the state. This position will require routine travel (approximately 5 days per calendar month) to attend/provide trainings, attend MOMS activities, perform care management duties in underserved populations, and engage patients and providers in various outreach activities. This position will require the incumbent to perform various trainings on topics such as (but not limited to) addiction, perinatal mental health, implicit bias, and health equity. Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication preferred. This position will require understanding of the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s (ASAM) placement criteria as well as have understanding of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders as the incumbent may be required to engage in biopsychosocial screening and referral to treatment for patients in the region needing assistance accessing addiction and mental health care.
