Duties include helping students learn skills to cope with their mental health needs. Our staff are key for youth to develop trusting relationships and heal from trauma. Staff serve as a positive role model for youth, with the responsibility to understand each individual’s treatment plan, and guide them towards a successful discharge. The work can be challenging, however in that challenge, you will come to know each student you treat and know that you were part of their growth and healing. Helping a youth successfully discharge is a rewarding experience!

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A bachelor's degree in a human services or closely related field (psychology, social work, etc. for example) or;
At least six (6) months of full-time experience in a residential treatment for children and an associate's degree in a human services related field or two years of college credit towards a bachelor's degree in a human services field or;
At least one year of full-time caregiver experience in residential treatment for children and a high school diploma or GED
