Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist - Perinatal Focus
Mary's Center The Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist, Perinatal Focus (IBHT) is a dynamic and flexible position responsible for administering Integrated Behavioral Health services for parti... cipants in the perinatal period who present with or screen positive for symptoms of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The IBHT is a part of both the Integrated Behavioral Health and Perinatal Mental Health teams, providing on-the-spot for perinatal participants experiencing mental health concerns, as well as providing ongoing brief episodes of care. These services include functional assessments, crisis management, and brief interventions using CBT, IPT and solution-focused modalities. The goal of these interventions is to improve the functioning of participants and/or reduce symptoms associated with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, post-partum depression, and other behavioral health or medical conditions related to pregnancy, as well as support clinic providers’ understanding and skill of behavioral health symptoms.
